Burnett & Co is a banking consultancy practice offering bank advice and advocacy services to help clients "manage" their bank.

Burnett & Co was founded by Chris Burnett who, having worked in the banking industry for in excess of twenty five years, became disillusioned with the push to increase fees and charges whilst at the same time cutting back on service levels. 

Chris felt that such things as staff cut backs, high management turnover, restrictive credit practices and their focus on providing attractive rates to new customers whilst ignoring their current clients, was creating a climate where an independently owned customer focused business that helped clients get the best out of the banks was needed. 

There is also now a great deal more choice when it comes to finance providers, with the major banks no longer enjoying a monopoly.  Whilst there are many more choices, Chris believed that somebody with his experence and knowledge would be able to help customers make an informed choice when looking for an alternative.

Burnett & Co was therefore formed to truly represent the best interests of its clients with the specific aim of cutting the cost and complexity of their banking arrangements.
